III. REGULATED PROFESSIONS

III.1. Amicable debt collection activity.

URIOS carries out the activity of amicable debt collection. In this context, it is subject to all the regulations applicable to this activity, in particular articles R124-1 and following of the Code of Civil Enforcement Procedures.

In application of Article R124-2 of the Code of Civil Enforcement Procedures, URIOS is the holder of an account exclusively dedicated to the receipt of funds collected on behalf of creditors.

URIOS also holds an insurance contract guaranteeing it against the pecuniary consequences of the professional civil liability that it may incur due to its activity.

In application of article R124-2 of the Code of Civil Enforcement Procedures, the amicable debt collection activity carried out by URIOS has been declared to the Public Prosecutor.

III.2. Civil investigator activity.

The URIOS company carries out, among other things, the activity of civil investigator. In this context, it is subject to all the legal provisions in force applicable to this regulated profession, and in particular to professional secrecy as defined in article R631-9 of the Code of Internal Security.

Also, in accordance with Articles L621-1 et seq. of the Internal Security Code, the activity of URIOS consists in particular of collecting, even without mentioning its capacity or revealing the object of its mission, information or intelligence intended for third parties, with a view to defending their interests. It is therefore subject to the provisions of Title II of Book VI of the Internal Security Code.

The activity of Private Investigation Agency carried out by URIOS is subject to an authorisation to operate, pursuant to Articles L622-6 to L622-12 of the Code of Internal Security as well as Decree n°2016-515 of 26 April 2016 relating to the conditions of exercise of private security activities and to the National Council for Private Security Activities.
